Elfrida Hamilton-Russell is CIO and Director of Leadership at the UK Green Building Council (UKGBC), where she designs and leads programmes that equip built environment professionals to drive meaningful climate and sustainability action. With more than 20 years’ experience spanning sustainability, leadership development and finance including an international career with Shell across Africa and Brazil, Elfrida brings a global, systems-thinking perspective to her work. She is passionate about unlocking human potential as a catalyst for industry transformation and believes that courageous, values-led leadership is essential to this. She is currently undertaking Doctoral studies with the University of Southampton.
