Entrants can either be specialised divisions within a larger organisation or specialist contractors who focus on water & environment as a core part of their business.

The award will celebrate a specialist business division or firm that has continually delivered innovation, quality and value over the last 18 months, while growing in terms of revenue, profits and staff numbers.

Entrants must demonstrate how they have improved their services over the last 18 months and use evidence from projects to show how the business’ technical abilities has gone beyond the expected level of service for clients and also benefitted the supply chain.

  • Strong relationship with clients, project partners and supply chain that have benefitted the business and its ability to deliver work above the expected standard

  • Innovation that has brought new solutions to the market to benefit projects delivered in the last 18 months
  • Policies, strategies or innovations which benefits the sector as a whole

This award recognises and celebrates a product solutions provider which has demonstrated outstanding services within the construction and civil engineering industry during the previous 18 months.

Entrants must show how they have responded to the demands of customers with a product or scheme relevant to their needs.

Entries must relate to solutions implemented to improve systems, processes or project delivery within a client’s business in the last 18 months to improve its performance and services.

Entries in this category should focus on business-wide innovations and, where applicable, be used across multiple divisions of the business and/ or projects.

Entries could focus on a particular innovation, such as an initiative to improve safety, employment practices, collaboration or delivery, or present how digital innovation is fostered and encouraged across the business and the benefits this is driving.

The innovation could be site or office based, and entrants should present clear evidence of how the innovation has delivered performance, cost, health and safety or reliability for the business and how this benefits both clients and society.
