For 20 years I’ve worked in Sustainability for the transport sector. I currently work in the West Alliance on the multibillion pound Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) rail construction project, looking to leave a low carbon legacy. Previous experience includes working on the original hydrogen and hybrid bus projects at TfL and implementing what is believed to be the first UK ISO 50001 certified system at Northern Rail. I also led the creation and delivery of the companywide sustainability strategy at Virgin Trains and Avanti West Coast. Throughout my career I have delivered carbon training and looked to push innovation.
