Stefano Quintavalle, Beng (Hons), MEng, CEng, FICE, is Head of Temporary Works for the HS2 S1/S2 contract, leading the TW team on one of Europe’s largest infrastructure projects. With more than 16 years’ experience in civil engineering, he has held senior roles on major projects and co authored research on recycled aggregate for temporary works. A Fellow of the ICE, Stefano is active in the Temporary Works Forum and served as secretary and group lead for the Design Process and Testing workstream that produced the 2024 “Design and Construction of Granular Working Platforms” document.
