Michael Pelken is founding partner of London-based P+ Studio and Consulting, and a recognised innovator, academic, and architect with a consistent track record of award-winning and patented developments in design and engineering. He drives climate-positive change across sectors through academic and industry-led research and development, and has managed R&D Portfolios for some of the UK’s leading built environment entities. Innovation workstreams are clearly articulated for the areas of Project Delivery, Product Development and Process Optimisation with a focus on sustainability, productivity and profitability improvements. He is a Senior Associate at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, Honorary Professor of University College London at The Bartlett, Coventry Visiting Professor of Advanced Building Systems, and a Royal Academy of Engineering Visiting Professor funded by the Department of Science, Innovation and Technology.
