Palantir with EKFB

Palantir is entering this award for our partnership with EKFB, at the heart of which has been the design and deployment of a technology solution named “smartCONNECT”, built on our Foundry software. “smartCONNECT” has been used to transform the management of design and planning consents along the 80 kilometre section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood, for which EKFB is responsible. By bringing together a large number of disparate data sources into a single operating picture, “smartCONNECT” manages consent delivery time periods (~750 applications) and has for some consents been able to improve the approval time per application by between 4-6 weeks creating a positive ripple effect across the business into construction. The solution has been fully integrated into the workforce across EKFB, with over 700 monthly users. It’s now also being applied to the handover and completions process.
