Best Place to Work – Large Consulting Firm

AtkinsRéalis

At AtkinsRéalis, we’re committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our talent development initiatives are designed to identify and nurture a wide range of talent, ensuring sustainable diversity across all levels of our organisation. This includes fostering an inclusive culture where individuals from diverse backgrounds can thrive, alongside a comprehensive wellbeing program designed to help employees flourish and reach their full potential

In 2024, we introduced a series of initiatives specifically designed to accelerate the progression of female talent at the mid-career stage. These initiatives include comprehensive development planning, advocacy, network building, profile raising, and enhancing business acumen.

One such initiative is the Activate Programme, designed to help employees expand their professional networks and deepen their business understanding. These targeted initiatives empower individuals to take accountability for their progress, particularly those on the cusp of accelerating their careers.

Pell Frischmann

Pell Frischmann has implemented a successful Wellbeing Action Plan to deliver our Wellbeing Strategy and help achieve our ambitious 2022-2025 Growth Plan, making us an exceptional place to work. The Plan takes a holistic approach to employee wellbeing, shaped by feedback from our people on the things that really matter to them. This is purposefully integrated with our other key people-driven strategies including Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, Social Value and Learning & Development. Collectively they contribute to our unique culture and drive positive wellbeing outcomes. The impact of the Plan is evident in our positive employee engagement survey results, reduced voluntary turnover rate and low levels of sickness absence.

WSP

WSP UK&I's wellbeing initiatives have significantly enhanced employee satisfaction and professional growth. Our yearly Safety, Health and Wellbeing (SHW) stand-down, which focused specifically on Wellbeing following employees feedback in our WSP Listens surveys, engaged over 4,100 employees in a session titled "Moments that Matter," emphasising the importance of wellbeing.

We developed new programmes focusing on Operational Excellence, Clients & Markets, Career Development and Inclusive Policies and Training, to foster a positive work culture and support career development, ensuring employees have the resources they need to succeed.

These efforts have led to a substantial reduction in employee turnover, with our attrition rate decreasing to 11.29% in 2024. Additionally, we onboarded 1429 new employees, including 389 graduates and apprentices, promoted 1003 colleagues and facilitated 115 international exchanges through our mobility programme.
