Samina Khan is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, with a successful track record of leading complex and innovative infrastructure delivery at central and local Government level, with the private sector and civil society. Samina joined the Infrastructure and Projects Authority in November 2020 and through her role of supporting the delivery of ‘Governments Major Projects Portfolio’ she focuses on ensuring government funds are used in the most effective and efficient way to deliver quality infrastructure solutions that also promote social equity, enhance the environment and advances the Government’s ambitions laid out in the Net Zero Strategy. As an experienced leader, Samina brings a unique perspective to infrastructure delivery, leadership, and management assisting projects to respond to society’s changing needs and expectations. She is committed to sustainable development and promotes a more holistic approach to infrastructure development with the early inclusion of climate adaptation and mitigation, environmental and social risks and opportunities. She is highly motivated and action focused to obtain results and committed to good communication.
