Lawrence is CEO of Energy Networks Association. He joined the organisation in February 2023. He was previously CEO of GIIA, the membership body for the world's leading institutional investors in infrastructure. Prior to this Lawrence began working with Energy UK in 2011, becoming CEO in January 2015. He has been involved in the energy industry since the late 1990s, working in countries around the world. Lawrence is a Board member of Eurelectric and Geode in Brussels, the EV charge-point provider Connected Kerb, and a trustee of the St Clare Hospice. He is also a Fellow of the Energy Institute.
