Harbinder is an Architect and Creative Director of Birdi & Partners a London based design consultancy that advises government bodies and the private sector on the design of major infrastructure projects. He was the Principal Architect for the design of three of the stations for the Stirling Prize winning, Elizabeth Line and was also the Principal Architect for the central section of Thames Tideway Tunnel. He is a Professor at the University of Cambridge,  teaching on the Master of Design Tripos, a course that combines the study of engineering, architecture, material science and the arts.  He is a fellow of the RIBA, ICE and RSA .
