Noemi Barrington MEng CEng FICE is a Chartered Civil Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers with extensive experience in major UK infrastructure projects, including HS2 and Crossrail. She is currently Lead Engineering Manager for Tunnelling at Skanska Costain STRABAG Joint Venture, supporting the delivery of HS2’s London tunnels. Her career spans engineering design, construction, temporary works, project management and knowledge management, including delivering Crossrail Paddington Station and supporting HS2 during the Parliamentary phase. Noemi is passionate about innovation, artificial intelligence, knowledge sharing and inclusion. She led the development of KnowBot, an AI-powered knowledge assistant, and is an active member of the SCS Women & Allies Working Group. She has been elected to the ICE Council and invited to join the ICE Learning Society Committee, reflecting her commitment to professional development, sharing knowledge and improving infrastructure delivery.
