Paula Gough CEng MICE is Buro Happold’s Sector Director for Transportation, with a career spanning more than two decades in engineering (Road & Rail), construction, transport and major national infrastructure schemes from planning to delivery in the UK and overseas. A Civil Engineer by training, Paula has played a pivotal role in the delivery and stewardship of significant Highways, Rail and Urban Regeneration projects. She has held a number of voluntary board positions and is a dedicated champion of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) within the construction industry as well as being a Trustee of a STEM charity. Paula is a frequent contributor to industry conferences and forums and provides independent advice for transfer to government departments on the long-term infrastructure needs of the UK, providing a voice on infrastructure delivery policy, investment and programme strategy.
