Nick heads up the Performance, Change & Designated Funds Division within National Highways' Safety Engineering and Standards (SES) Directorate. His team are responsible for delivering the £900m Designated Funds Programme, for linking SES expertise with the wider business and for providing programme management for the Company's KPIs. 

Nick formerly led the Regional Investment Programme in the south west, overseeing the teams delivering the A417, A30, A358 and A303 Sparkford dualling projects. Before joining National Highways, Nick worked for Transport for London, initially working on several high-profile infrastructure projects – including Congestion Charging and the Cycle Hire Scheme – and latterly as TfL’s Head of Highways.
