David Crook is a highly experienced town planner and regeneration practitioner specialising in the infrastructure provision for housing. Having started his career with the Planning Inspectorate, David has worked for the University of the West of England, Government Office for the SW, MHCLG & BIS where he set up the local partnerships that have recently received funding to enable significant housing and economic growth around Bristol Temple Meads Station. David moved to Homes England in 2018 to lead on the HIF programme in the South of England and the Oxfordshire Housing Deal. David is currently on secondment to the LGA leading the B/LRF programme and delivery team, part of the One Public Estate programme. David has an MA in Town and Country Planning and an MPhil Degree by Research both from UWE and has been an RTPI member for over 20 years.
