David Baxter is Head of ArcelorMittal Sheet Piling for the UK and Ireland. ArcelorMittal are the world’s leading steel company and the largest manufacturer of hot rolled steel sheet piles. A Chartered Civil Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, he recently held the position of Chair of the Steel Piling Group and is a BSI committee member, acting as expert to geotechnical and structural standards committees. David has over 20 years’ experience in geotechnics and ground engineering, encompassing site and project management, design of foundations and retaining structures as well as spending time on applied research.
